Charlotte Eure

Charlotte Eure is an artist and an empath who is always ready to get into some feelings and have difficult conversations. She’s got a lot of Scorpio and 12th House business in her birth chart, and she’s happy to talk with you about your disdain or love for astrology. Christopher Sebastian McJetters

 

 

 

 

Longtime vegan and social justice advocate Christopher-Sebastian McJetters currently lives in Prague with his rescue dog Orion. A copyeditor by profession, Sebastian is currently a staff writer at Vegan Publishers. In his spare time, he organizes events and discussions relative to exploring the intersectionality of veganism and other movements for social justice including women, the LGBT community, and people of color. He also bakes vegan cookies that are guaranteed to end wars, lower taxes, save marriages, and raise consciousness.

Brenda Sanders

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brenda Sanders serves as Executive Director of Better Health, Better Life, a public health organization, and is Co-Director of Open the Cages Alliance, an animal advocacy organization in Baltimore, MD. Through Better Health, Better Life, Brenda runs the Eating for Life program, a series of free workshops aimed at teaching people in low-income communities how to prepare healthy vegan food. With Open the Cages Alliance, she co-organizes the Vegan Living Program, a six-week education program that teaches the basics of transitioning to the vegan lifestyle. Brenda is also co-creator of Vegan SoulFest, an annual festival that celebrates culture and the vegan lifestyle, and she’s a founding member of PEP Foods, a collective of food justice activists and business owners whose goal is to bring affordable vegan food to low-income communities in Baltimore City.

Justin Van Kleeck

Justin Van Kleeck has a Ph.D. in English but left academia in part to work on veganism, the environment, and other social issues. He is a freelance writer who has written for Our Hen House, Vegan Publishers, Project Intersect, and others. He and his wife, Rosemary, founded Triangle Chicken Advocates, a non-profit organization that runs a small sanctuary for chickens and other farmed animals and promotes ethical veganism, as well as the Microsanctuary Resource Center (originally The Microsanctuary Movement) to help inspire others to use what resources they can to provide sanctuary to animals in need. Despite all of that, Justin is an extreme and unapologetic introvert.
