Alastor Van Kleeck

Yuki

Alastor Van Kleeck (they/them) has a Ph.D. in English but left academia in part to work on veganism, the environment, and other social issues. Alastor has written for Our Hen House, Vegan Publishers, Project Intersect, and others. They and their partner, Rosemary, founded Triangle Chicken Advocates, a non-profit organization that runs a small sanctuary for chickens and other farmed animals and promotes ethical veganism, as well as the Microsanctuary Resource Center (originally The Microsanctuary Movement) to help inspire others to use what resources they can to provide sanctuary to animals in need. Despite all of that, Alastor is an extreme and unapologetic introvert.
