He is a freelance writer who has written for Our Hen House, Vegan Publishers, Project Intersect, and others. He and his wife, Rosemary, founded Triangle Chicken Advocates, a non-profit organization that runs a small sanctuary for chickens and other farmed animals and promotes ethical veganism, as well as the Microsanctuary Resource Center (originally The Microsanctuary Movement) to help inspire others to use what resources they can to provide sanctuary to animals in need. Despite all of that, Justin is an extreme and unapologetic introvert.
